Engineering Coordinator

We are seeking a qualified Emirati Engineering Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating engineering activities for piping, civil, and oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in the field, ADNOC approval, and a strong background in coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure project success. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Engineering Coordination: 

  • Oversee and manage engineering activities for piping, civil, and oil and gas projects to ensure alignment with project specifications and objectives. 
  • Coordinate with different engineering disciplines to integrate design, planning, and execution phases. 
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between engineering teams, ensuring seamless project execution. 

Project Management: 

  • Assist in developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets. 
  • Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues or delays promptly. 
  • Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on schedule, within scope, and meet quality standards. 

Technical Oversight: 

  • Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and compliance with industry standards and project requirements. 
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, resolving technical issues as they arise. 
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle. 

Stakeholder Management: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers. 
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to address project requirements, changes, and concerns. 
  • Facilitate meetings and communication between project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues. 
  • Quality Assurance: 
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure engineering deliverables meet required standards and specifications. 
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality standards and project requirements. 
  • Address any quality-related issues and ensure effective corrective actions are taken. 

Documentation and Reporting: 

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including engineering reports, meeting minutes, and progress reports. 
  • Provide regular updates and reports to project management and stakeholders on project status, issues, and performance. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent. 
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in engineering coordination within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on piping and civil engineering. 
  • ADNOC approval or certification is required. 
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, industry standards, and project management practices. 
  • Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating complex projects. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. 
  • Familiarity with relevant engineering software and tools.
