Project Description
- Fujairah Oil Terminal (FOT) a major Crude operator in Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ) with more than half a million Crude storage capacity intends utilize the VLCC tanker jetty constructed by POF. Current infrastructure of FOT didn’t envisage this requirement and is considered inadequate for VLCC connectivity for which major changes within the Terminal and its connection configuration to FOTT is required.
- FOT plot area consists of 4 Nos. of tank farms capable of handling Class 1, II & III hydrocarbon products.
- Tank farm 1 (TF1) comprises of 10 no’s of storage tanks which handles Crude. (approx. capacity 100,600 m3)
- TF1 is to be connected to the VLCC pump station designed and constructed to comply with VLCC flow rate requirements.
- Electrical & Automation system of the new facility has to be integrated with the existing with the required modifications
- Detailed engineering design to be carried out based on the FEED documents provided.
Work is to be executed in 3 areas as follows :
- Inside FOT Terminal
- Outside FOT Terminal to POF Matrix Manifold 2
- Inside POF Matrix Manifold 2
At Terminal:
- Construction of new Pump Manifold for VLCC Pump station with equipment foundations.
- Construction of fire barrier for existing firewater tank and FW pump.
- Construction of new Switch gear building
- Bund wall modifications
- Construction of pipe supports and sleepers, crossovers and platforms
- Roads and pavements, construction of trench and culverts
Electrical
- Installation of new 6.6 kv switch gears, Electrical panels and VFDs for new pumps.
- Laying/Termination of cables from the new VLCC pumps to new 6.6 kv switch gear room.
- Installation of associated cable trays, supports etc.
- Cabling and termination of all MOVs, lights, and sump pumps
From Terminal to POF MM2:
- Manual/Machine excavation and backfilling for pipeline laying works.
- Road Crossings and reinstatement
- Ship loading/unloading pumps (4000m3/hr x 4 Nos.), stripping pump (1000m3/hr x 1 No.), sump pump (10m3/hr x 1 No.) in the new pump manifold
- PLRs (4 Nos. for Crude, 2 No. for Black Oil) at the new pump manifold and new PLR (2 No. for White oil) at existing pump station.
- 2 Nos. 48” (380m ea.) tank farm header piping connecting existing Crude tanks to the new pump station with necessary tie-ins with existing tank headers.
- 2 Nos. 40” Crude lines from PLR Z301/302 at terminal to Z303/304 at MM2 (1,200m x 2 Lines – A/G, 1,500m x 2 Lines – U/G)
- 1 No. 30” Black oil line from new PLR Z305 at terminal to Z308 at MM2 (1,750m x 1 Line – A/G, 1,500m x 1 Line – U/G)
- 1 No. 24” White oil line from new PLR Z306 at existing pump station at terminal to Z307 at MM2 (1,900m x 1 Line – A/G, 1,500m x 1 Line – U/G).
- 1 No. 8” Nitrogen line from existing nitrogen header at terminal to MM2 (1,150m x 1 Line – A/G, 1,500m x 1 Line – U/G)
- Extension of firewater and other utilities (potable water, instrument air, slop) network for new pump manifold.
At POF MM2:
- New pipe supports, platforms foundations
- PLR Foundations.
