QA&QC Engineer – ADNOC APPROVAL

We are seeking a qualified QA/QC Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will hold ADNOC approval and CSWIP (Certified Welding Inspector) certification. This role involves overseeing quality assurance and quality control activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, ADNOC regulations, and project specifications.  

Key Responsibilities: 

Quality Assurance & Control: 

  • Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance and control procedures in line with project requirements and industry standards. 
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with ADNOC regulations, project specifications, and quality standards. 
  • Monitor construction and installation activities to ensure adherence to quality requirements. 

Inspection and Testing: 

  • Perform and oversee welding inspections, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), and other quality control activities. 
  • Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and other quality-related documents. 
  • Manage the resolution of any issues related to quality control and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented. 

Documentation and Reporting: 

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action reports. 
  • Generate regular quality reports and updates for project management and stakeholders. 
  • Ensure proper documentation and tracking of quality issues and resolutions. 

Compliance and Standards: 

  • Ensure all quality control activities comply with ADNOC approval requirements, industry standards, and project specifications. 
  • Stay current with updates in quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices. 

 

Team Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to address quality issues and implement solutions. 
  • Provide training and support to project teams on quality standards and procedures. 

Problem Resolution: 

  • Investigate and address quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. 
  • Work with vendors and subcontractors to resolve quality-related problems and ensure compliance with specifications. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent. 
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the oil and gas industry. 
  • ADNOC approval is required. 
  • CSWIP (Certified Welding Inspector) certification is required. 
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and regulatory requirements. 
  • Proficiency in quality control software and tools. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
